Dane Vacation Pictures Page

When I started breeding I decided that if my babies were going to go to all that trouble for me and have babies that I would take some of the money that they made and take them on a vacation that was all about them. This page is dedicated to those vacation pictures and stories!

Our First Vacation! Beaver Lake Lost Bridge Campgrounds 7-21-08 through 7-24-08

Ok I am ready Daddy lets get started! Apollo has a tendency to try to walk himself when he gets impatient!

We could barely get Apollo out of the water!

We make such a pretty couple!

Apollo says "can we swim yet" and Emma is says "let me go chew on a stick"

The water was so clear it was neat to watch Apollo move around, like we was made to be a water dog!

"Do I have to go in" This was on the second day we were out. She was getting in but she was not sure she liked it!

It didn't take Emma any time to find herself a place in the shade, and Apollo followed right along with her! They are underneath our trailer that we carried our gear on.

I want to jump...no I don't...yes I do...no I don't...lol. She though about it for about ten minutes then gave up!

"I like the canoe"...He tried to jump out once after a stick then thought better of it when the canoe started leaning, after that he did great!

So intently looking on. He was watching a boat go by!

"Do I have to get up? You guys have done wore me plum out"

This was the last day. She finally decided to get all the way in on her own and swim without fussing. I still don't think she really "liked" it but she did tolerate it and she did very well.

We finally had to put a life jacket on Apollo, he was getting sooo tired but he would not get out of the water and rest. It was almost like he knew it was our last day and he needed to get it all in while he could! He loved the life jacket. I took it off of him one time and when he got back in the water he came back to me to get it put back on.

Well it was finally time to go home. Don't they look so pretty sitting together with the hill behind them!
