Pet Guarantee/Application
Congratulations on the adoption of a new friend.
We (the seller) hope that you will find enjoyment in having a Great Dane
both in the next few months and in the years to come.
The
Great Dane you are buying has been breed with the temperament, health and
conformation in mind. The dog you
are buying is guaranteed to be healthy at the time of purchase.
To receive the benefit of this guarantee you must bring the puppy to a
licensed veterinarian, at your cost, within 72 hour of purchase.
If the puppy is not found to be in perfect health at this initial
examination, a full veterinarian report of diagnosis should be brought to us
immediately. A full refund of
purchase price or replacement will be given only under these circumstances.
There are not any guarantees against death or sickness from parvo disease. If
your puppy dies or gets sick due to parvo disease there will not be any
reimbursement of any expenses incurred due to the disease.
Your
puppy will be ready for pick-up at six (6) weeks of age when it has had one (1)
set of shots. If the puppy is being shipped air freight it will be ready at
eight (8) weeks of age and will have two (2) sets of shots, and will be shipped as soon as possible after eight (8)
weeks of age.
All
puppies are guaranteed to have dew claws removed, be dewormed at two (2),
four (4) and six (6) weeks of age, have shots at six (6) weeks of age to include
parvo, have kennel cough shots at four (4) weeks of age, have a vet health
certificate from our vet (if shipping air freight), and come with AKC
registration.
This
puppy is given a one (1) year guarantee against genetic defects. (Deafness is
not included in this guarantee) We will pay up to the purchase price of the dog
or we will supply a replacement. To
gain this benefit, We require a full veterinarian report and for the pet to be
allowed to be examined by our veterinarian within 48 hours.
We
will supply life long technical support with your puppy. We will gladly answer
any questions you might have about raising, training and owning a Great Dane.
During
the life of this dog, if you have any reason to sell this dog, We require that
you give us the option of buying back the dog. The dog you purchase shall never
be given to a shelter or a rescue, if giving the dog to a shelter or rescue is
your only option we will gladly take the puppy back and find it a good home at
no cost to us or you.
Although
We breed dogs with the breed standard as our goal, we do not guarantee any wins
or medals in any dog show or competition. We do however, encourage such
competition.
Upon
receiving this signed contract a deposit is required to hold the puppy of your
choice. There will not be a refund if you choose not to purchase your puppy.
Your puppy must be paid for in full by the time he/she is six (6) weeks old and
picked up by the time he/she is eight (8) weeks old. If payment is not received
by this time We have the option of listing the puppy for sell again and you do
will not get a refund. If shipping or pick-up is not arranged by the time he/she
is eight (8) weeks old there will be an additional fee of twenty-five dollars
($25) per week to hold the puppy. If you do not pick-up your puppy by this time
you will not be entitled to a refund.
We
do understand the sometime unexpected things happen therefore under extreme
circumstances we will try to refund you some of your purchase price if you can
not keep or pick up the puppy but this is not a guarantee.
